What this site does

VIG Guide is a static, content-only website. We publish independent guides, comparisons, and technical information about Vacuum Insulated Glass (VIG). The site does not require user accounts and does not host a comment system, a forum, or a contact form backend.

What we don't collect

We do not run analytics scripts, advertising networks, social-login widgets, or any third-party trackers on this site. The HTML, CSS, and images served to your browser contain no third-party requests beyond the page assets themselves.

Server logs

Like every site on the public web, the hosting layer (Cloudflare Pages) records standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp, and the URL requested — for the purpose of operating, securing, and debugging the service. These logs are retained according to Cloudflare's standard data-retention policy and are not sold or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the network.

We do not currently extract analytics from these logs. If we ever publish traffic data, it will be aggregated and anonymised.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies (such as __cf_bm for bot management) at the network edge; these are not under the editorial control of VIG Guide and are governed byCloudflare's privacy policy.

Editorial content on this site links to manufacturer datasheets, standards bodies, and other third-party resources for verification and further reading. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Future features

If we add a contact form, newsletter, or any feature that involves collecting personal information, this page will be updated before that feature ships, with details on what is collected, why, and how to request deletion.
